ok #15 what do you need to know I chatted with a shop that does these things all day
I am going to build a external cover for mine out f plexiglass
with 2 stud bolts..
1 for green wire from brush for field ...
1 for green wite from brush for ALT ground (not battery ground)

the 2 yellow wires get sealed as a no connection...

hope this helps if thats what your looking for..

which of course and adjustable external regulator would hook up to the pos post, neg post, and the field post(that you just built on the cover) and then run a wire off the other post that is on the cover to the engine ground...

were did you get your external Regulator?

I sold this guy a regulator 2 years ago, he might still have it.

Joe from Davemade built it for me.

Everyone builds regulators now. Not much to them at all.

sure wish I knew that everyone was making or copying them
as i needed one in the past...but the one i am getting holds 2 ALTs at 200AMPS a piece. so good enough...
