ARRISAT-1 Burn Up

The RS01S ARRISAT-1 is suppose to burn up some time tomorrow, if you would like to see a live broadcast of a pass today at 1610 EST go to w1msg - live streaming video powered by Livestream I will be broadcasting this pass. It will be a 63 degree elevation pass and should be pretty good.

Thanks for letting us listen in, it was noisy but it cleared up towards the end of the pass.

As the orbit decayed I was getting more and more noise. That is probably the last pass I will hear as I expect it will be dead and burned up by 10am in the morning. If not I'll try to listen in again. There are recordings on the channel site ..

As soon as my new M2 30 element CP UHF beam gets here I might broadcast some of the FM Satellite passes.

Well I didn't hear it any of the passes yesterday and AMSAT has confirmed its de-orbit as of yesterday

Arrisat-1 was showing at the time of my previous post on N2YO site 'live tracking', and has been updated as decayed on that site. I guess another question would be how accurate their tracking is-when a satellite goes into decay.
