I've been using that nasty conductive plumbing flux for electronics my entire life and now that I am tinkering with SMT devices that cant be cleaned under, I am realizing it may be time to upgrade. Does anyone know of a good flux that is not conductive nor corrosive? I am looking for something that cleans off easily but wont be an issue if I miss some.

Thanks

there are a few good brands to choose from. one of the most widely used and recommended by both hobbyists and professionals is kester.

Incoming Region Produces X3 Solar Flare
    May 15, 2024 @ 14:55 UTC
Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned
