im wondering how many of these auctions have shills bidding to beef p the hype of these items I would never pay that much for that meter
 
its an aries hp-5000


it looks new and from my search its not available anymore .so like anything else not made anymore you pay what you have to to get one .

it is actually a nice meter . has an "active" pep circuit .which mean it reads real pep ."active" the key word here .

it also treads average watts to and has a 2 position antenna switch hookup .
and it goes to 5k
all in all a nice meter .

i have read about some problems with them though .so if this buyer got a good one i am sure he will be happy .

look at what a astatic 575 goes for now .....a used one just brought 130.00 plus shipping .
as more and more items get discontinued for our hobby prices will just get higher and higher .

you gotta pay to play!
