I recently aquired a SB-200.I am driving it with a General Stonewall Jackson. I have been told two different ways to set it up.

1) set deadkey at 10 watts and forward drive "swing" to 100 watts.

2) set deadkey at 100 watts.

are eighther of these correct ? any other suggestion ?

The way it is set up now is 20 watts deadkey and 100 watts forward drive. according to my Rat Shack meter its doing 700 watts PEP.(Will this hurt the radio or amp this way?) Should I get more watts from this amp ?

Im sorry for all the rookie questions, so far I have done all the work myself from info off of the internet.People say it sounds good and "its smoking" I just dont want to smell smoke<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

If need be I'll take it to RR in Richmond.Any ol'e nurse can take your temp.,and blood pressure, but only a doctor can operate.

Thanks In advance.

Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
