yea the mag mounts are simple to setup/use mount it on roof generally

Blow the Dust out your pocketbook and buy a Magnum S series.... you will be happy with the Audio.. SSB works Awesome if adjusted right..

For the last 30 years I have tried a lot of CBs and 10 meter radios Mobils and bases, I still use a 148GTL the new one and a Cobra 2000GTL an 1982 model. Another good radio is the S-45 it can be used for a base or a mobil with good results, the sleeper antenna for CB is the K30 its not very broud banded but for part of the 40 channal band like say ch19 or channal 38LSB it talks and hears very very well car to car or car to base. I have tried and tested least 200+ CB antennas and 100 cb & 10 meter radios over the years! walterb
