Hey cswguy, where are you in Ontario. I've not heard of the 650. I have an older 700 with the 1446's works great.

It may not be an X-Force amp then, who makes it??
579, you still using your 700? I heard you a few years ago with that running and you were sounding good.

As far as I know none of the M/S amps are class B and Carl will not add it, that is why they are so cheap.

Here is the link for Midnight Special amplifiers built by X-Force. As you can see they do not make a 650 model.

I think he is talking about one on Kijji classifieds for sale he has it listed as a 650w amplifier......its a Midnight special 700 FYI:whistle: Was almost going to trade my NOS cobra 139XLR in the box for it but decided against it!

It doesn't necessarily need to be an XForce...

I had a "Midnight Special 650" about eight years ago, it was a 1x4 Class C built by a guy in Louisiana/Mississippi...it used Motorola transitors, not the typical 2879/2290/1446 variety either. It was a small cased 1x4...basically a 1x4 in a 1x2 case, black case, and had steel toggles.

Point is, "Midnight Special" isn't an XForce only thing...
