Yeah no probs se7en thanks for starting this thread.

I am helping out a mate who got his hands on an old Motorola analogue spectra. Information on the net points me to an obsolete version of RSS that requires original DOS (win 3.1) to run which is a real pain as my pc's all run win7.
After some ping pong coversations with a good bloke put me onto CPS (R05.03.00).
I'm just waiting for a rib and cable to come in the mail to get the ball rolling.
I have installed the CPS spftware and when I launch the program it gives me an error message stating that the file can not be found. I have found reference to this exact fault on another forum where the fix was simply plugging in the rib.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Does anyone have experience with programming spectra's or using the CPS R05.03.00?

Some information:

Astro saber line includes:
Astro saber & xts3000.

Astro spectra is astro spectra.

Astro25 line includes:
XTS5000
XTS2500
XTS4000


Astro25 has it's own CPS.
Astro saber & xts3000 use the same CPS.
Astro spectra has its own CPS.

Thanks for the clarification on the different lines.

Do you know the name of CPS for each line
For example

Xts3000 needs (astro saber + xts3000 CPS R??.??.??)
Xts5000 needs (astro25 CPS R??.??.??)
And spectra needs (spectra CPS R05.03.00)

Latest astro25 is I believe R19.02.01(¿) more to come.
Last and final cps for astro spectra is R05.03.00

Just spent 2 weeks at Moto in Schaumburg, attending Astro 25 and MCC7500 school. Place is HUGE. They are on a 400 acre site in the middle of the city.
