Need help with DX-300 Shortwave

Anyone any good at trouble shooting an old Radio Shack DX-300 Shortwave
It turns on lights up Digital display works all the knobs and switches seem to be OK.
I am getting some static but no signals at all.:glare:
Anyone know what this might be and how I can fix it.

make sure mute switch or attenuator switch is in the middle i have a 302 but i think they are the same..hook up some headphones see if you have audio there in case the speaker puked good luck.
