Has new board and was wanting to do a power mod to it, can I remove JV6 and place the 220uF there or is that the wrong way to go? :pop:
 

Do not remove the mod limiter, what kind of power mod are you trying to perform?? Do you have proper test equipment?? Just curious as you need proper test equipment to perform any mod that is going to change the power.

You'd do far better getting a linear. The amount of increase you can get on the rig is so little as to be pointless.

Nice but you're still only going to get an increase worth less than half a S point whilst running the output higher than it really was meant to both shortening its life and reducing the linearity which usually results in splatter.

Far better just to buy a linear amp and use the Cobra to drive that.
