Need some help! I have a pal 321 Amp tube type and on the back it has a small stud with nuts on it. It has the word Ground under it. My ? is dose this need a wire on it and ground'ed to the wall socket or raido or something else. My thought was it is for wall outlets that dose not have the ground plug like the old house's had. Heres the thing if it needs to be grounded I would like to know to what or not at all. Thanks God Bless.

it like all old and current ham gear is supposed to be grounded to your houses main ground rod. usually people will use a distribution block with all there gear on it and run a heavy copper wire to the houses main ground point. its usually where the electical enters the house. it should be outside.
