I have a Pyramid PS-52KX power supply and it is putting out 24vdc anyone know what the most likely cause for this maybe.

Maybe a blown voltage regulator but they tend to drop the output to near zero. I would place good money on a blown pass transistor,maybe a few of them. That would allow the higher pre-regulated voltage to appear at the output.
