president grant pc-409 clarifier help

hello recently picked up a pres. grant and this radio has had the clarifier slide mod done to it. i am very much not a fan of the clarifier modification and would like to put it back to stock. but for the life of me i cannot seem to find the stock location for the red wire and orange wire. someone actually did it right instead of cutting the wires.lol can anyone help me out?

Do you have a bench freq counter and are you prepared to realign the oscillators that will go off freq one you put it back to stock? If not; then don't bother with it . . .

If memory serves me right, one side of the clarifier goes to R44, the other side of the clarifier goes to R174. I can't remember which wire goes where as far as color goes, but if the RX slide is backwards, reverse the wires. Make sure to reinstall or close up R44 and D52. Make sure that R174 is not jumped across.
