I just got a RCI2970 dx back from the shop with an alignment and everything was sounding great. Then after the radio warms up a little the display goes dead while transmitting. It looks like the radio is off but it keeps transmitting even with the blank display! I can see it on the meter. The only variable I can throw in is the new power cord I ordered from a 3rd party. The cord seems fine with no shorts while moving it. Has anyone heard of the problem and any suggestions on how to resolve it. Thanks.
