Hello. Can someone explain why my receive goes quiet after transmitting on my radio? If I click the microphone button on and off, then the receive comes back. I have an amplifier in line, maybe something is going out on the amp ?

take the amp out of line. if it stops doing it then the issue is the amp relay sticking. If your using a preamp built into the amp, turn that off as that could be the relay that's sticking.

The radio does receive properly without the amp. I will see about ordering a new relay for the amp. Thanks much
