provided the internal power supply would handle the extra amperage drawn by the RFX75 I'd say it would work good.
Problem is, most cb base stations have a power supply that's barely capable of running the rig after a standard tune up let alone adding a replacement final section.. If you beefed up the power supply you would be able to run one.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
