Robyn 8 + 8 wont scan

I have a couple old Robyn scanners.One is a 8+8 model, other one is a 3 bander. When you turner them on, they might scan for a couple minutes, then they stop.Is there is any place that works on the older crystal type scanners ? I dont want to throw them away.
 

Crystal scanners are obsolete and the crystals are impossible to find. Best thing to is to throw them in the trash. Not worth the time and money.....
