sirio antennas

anyone tried any of these antennas? guess they do well overseas.

Are you kidding? Sirio has been importing crap to the United States for YEARS! Along with CTE and others. Many people have used their antennas.

i agree with mc, they do very well because we have no viable alternative, a couple of the sirio base antennas work well but they are a joke when it comes to build quality, in the uk a product must be suitable for its intended purpose for a reasonable period of time usually 12 months and as such i dont think they should be allowed to sell them but people keep buying them year after year giving the retailers no reason to stock anything of better quality, on the other hand the sirio highpower 4000 mobile antenna outperforms the wilson base loaded antennas and they are pretty well constructed just dont go whacking trees with them and you may get a few years use.

Usually Italy makes some pretty good stuff but I'll stick to the American made antennas.

Might be a coincidence, but the Firestik Venice and Rome mobile antennas look like the Sirio mobiles.
