I have a BR 21 that i'm restoring for a buddy and the tubes are flat.. I cannot find any info on the brand used. Does anyone know what brand that the tubes were?
I had a BR-21 years ago, it was a good clean amp with about 50-75 watts out. It is rf senseing but I modded mine with a manual key switch which allowed ssb.
The brand is not important here. Sonar actually had their own name stamped on the tubes they used. Inspection of the numerical code on the side of Sonar tubes often showed 188-5. That happens to be the code for the old Owensboro Kentucky, General Electric tube plant.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
