SSB 99.9% of the time gotta be carefull don't want my radio's to catch anything from am.

I listen mostly on 19 am, talk on 38 ssb when I am bored, but for most of my talking is on FM, what we use when we convoy or hunt.

Same here. The only AM traffic local anymore is the occasional truckers passing through or on 6 when skip is rolling.

When the skip is in there real bad I just use the OFF mode.
