What do they say about having a rotator 2 feet under the boom of a PDL-2 antenna?

My Eznec suggest such mass is OK, but the real test for any electrical device close to your antenna is in real world results. Test the idea close to the ground...if you want to know for sure what might happen. That will give you the <gotproof>

When I rotated my beams ,and it was close to the antenna...sometimes I could hear a slight bit of noise when conditions were really quiet, and that noise stopped when the rotor stopped.

I also ran the rotor cable on the opposite side of my mast from the coax...just in case.
