Currently messing around with a RK 76 I picked up.
This one seems very unique in that it has a 9V battery and roger beeps built in and a different board than the others.
This is the old 7V version which I've seen before. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Yp8AAOSwDv5gf1AI/s-l1600.jpg
Older RK 76 Manual - http://www.radiomanual.info/schemi/ACC_microphone/Turner_RK70_RK70J_RK76_user.pdf
The older versions above were from the late 70's.
This version appears to be a later model after Turner was bought by Telex. The board itself is very interesting and has potentiometer as well as a chip with Telex 17 labeling. Not sure if it uses any type of compression.
Anyone have an information or history on this model? Never seen one before and going to make a video to document it.
Duracell battery that came out of it said good until 2003 I had trouble getting it out as it was all swollen but luckily it hadn't burst/leaked.
Made in the USA!!
