Hi everybody, I have a new Galaxy 98 and my Starlight is very dim even when my dimmer is all the way up. My question is does anybody know if there is a way to turn it up or perhaps replace a component that will make it brighter? Thank you in advance for any answers.

Open cases and check main board grounds. Squeeze and flex the radio at the sides and see if the faceplate intermittenly lights brighter.

The power connection for the radio head star light is a plastic strip about 2 inches long and about a half inch wide that plugs into the head. Check that this strip is firmly inserted into the socket. The strip has a wide rectangular head that should be fully seated into the power socket.

Incoming Region Produces X3 Solar Flare
    May 15, 2024 @ 14:55 UTC
Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned
