I have my Icom 703+ hooked up to my Vista Laptop
running Windows 7 (64Bit) using HRD 5.0, DM780 and
everythings looks and works fine. I have a N5BIA
ISOCat in line to make the radio to PC hookup.
I tune to 14.071 USB and call CQ. The program
says I am transmitting, the radio is keyed up.
But, no power out on USB or LSB on BPSK31. AM
is fine, FM works as it should, with the
microphone, also full output with the microphone
on USB and LSB...

What am I doing wrong ???

It seems like a 'sound card problem' is fairly common. It depends a lot on which sound card and how/what the inputs are on both the card it's self and the computer (my computer has speaker and mic connections on the front too).
Like 'FUT' said, either re-boot the computer or change settings in the sound card/device manager.
One way to tell if there's any output from the sound card as you have things set up is to put a speaker on the 'input' to the radio, any noise? If not, you still have to "re-direct" the output from the sound card... device manager?
Good luck.

soundcard

REDO your soundcard to the outboard system ....looking at the screen..it will show you the standard soundcard used. look at the one matching your outboard soundcard...set that one.
