Where can one get a 66 " whip, I have seen them before but can't remember where ?

The 66" comes with the Wilson 5000....

Actually when the dealers buy the Wilsons they come
in a small box for both the 1000 @ 5000. The dealer buys
the whips in a tube with X number of stingers and he can
mix and match.

If it is a CB or Ham shop, then he should know by now to
get some Xtra 66" whips (stingers) whatever :)

John

HERE 468 ÷ F = ½W

½W ÷ 2 x 12 - C = Whip Length
WHERE: F = Frequency desired ; W = Wavelength ; C = Coil Factor
(Coil Factor : for W-1000 use : C=41.65 ; for Trucker 5" use: C=52.21 ; for Trucker 10" use C=53.84
468/27.205= 17.20272
17.20272/2X12-41.65= 61.56632 IN SO WE NEED 62"
Antenna mast allows an additional 1-¼" adjustment of antenna. This allows for correcting and adding length if whip is cut to short.

61.5 + 1.250 = 62.750 TOTAL LENGHT

CH FREQ. WILSON 1000/5000
1 26.965 = 62 ¾"
5 27.015 = 62 ¾"
10 27.075= 62 ¼"
15 27.135= 62 "
19 27.185 = 61 ¾"
25 27.245 = 61 ½"
30 27.305 = 61 ¼ "
35 27.355 = 61 "
40 27.405 = 60 ¾"

Incoming Region Produces X3 Solar Flare
    May 15, 2024 @ 14:55 UTC
Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned
