wiring diagram for installing a frequency counter on Cobra 148 GTL
Sorry its a Siltronix external frequency counter the FD-1011 has dc or ac plug for mobile or base setup wanting to put a female behind my Cobra 148 GTL to plug it in too Thanks
I don't think you would have much luck trying to wire that freq counter up to a 148 gtl. It has a single conductor w/shield wire going to a 1/8" mono plug which goes to a jack on the back of the Siltronix/Swan transceivers. I think it was designed to only work with those particular units. IMO you'd be better off getting one of the Ranger/Galaxy freq counters.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
