I've been checking this site out for a while now and there is much info here on many radios, reviews, mods and insights. Only problem it is in Russian so a translator is needed. I have been able to navigate after a fashion using the translator and found data on one of my newest receivers, the Grundig G3.
There is a JAVA script that is almost fascinating and is close to what I figure could be a SDR, Software Defined Radio. Go to the link below and the old radio at the top can be turned on and seems to tune with volume control. Has potential?
