Yaesu MD-1/ Icom 706MKIIG

Looking to wire a MD-I to 706 MKII6. I have the 0PC-589 Adapter.

Why? The mic element in the 706 stock mic was custom designed by Bob Heil. The lack of low end response is in the radio, not the mic.

I have a MD-1 that I would like to put on the radio so, I won't have to use the hand mike. It's not because the stock mike sounds bad. Just trying to free up my hands.
