So did anyone else notice the President Madison with matching speaker on the network promo for Young Sheldon?

I guess it could also be the AM base version called the Dwight D but the fuzzy text under the channel knob appears to be Madison and not Dwight D.

The mike something like a Turner Plus 3?

I saw it. I couldn't make out if that was a Madison or not, but the desk mic sure looks like a Plus 3.

I didn't catch the earlier / original thread. But it's great to see that a number of us caught the radio in the ad.
Like others have noted normally you see some sort of receiver or scanner used as a 'transmitter'.

Last week they showed the final last season episode which had Sheldon talking on the uniden/Plus-3 "intercom" again as well as featuring his home made magnetic loop antenna at home so that he could hear the Nobel winners "Live".

Reminds me of my cousin , after all these years now I know he wasn't " All There " He use to ride around w & Big Old School Regency Scanner mounted over head in the cab w/ a Mic screwed in the back where the coax went so people would think he was on the Fire Department ! Almost ashamed to say we were related !

There's two shows that have a radio setup that intrigued me. One of those shows is Andy Griffith. Captain kilowatt straightened me out on what that setup was. I recently noticed a piece of equipment in the MASH 4077 radio room with a cover that closely resembled the covers used by the builder of the Elkin amplifiers. Another transceiver that intrigued me was the one that is used by Shelley Duvall to contact the police / ranger department in The shining. That transceiver eventually gets smashed to pieces by Jack Nicholson's crazy character. Captain kilowatt told me exactly what transceiver was too
