i had a 93t kicking into a ts 500 and it was a great combination.the radio was doing around 80 watts.so that would be my pick.like binrat said,the tnt amps are good too.

mr clean,i'm in north eastern ky.about 100 miles east of lexington along the river. hot rod,i have an old galaxy 88 and a wilson 5000 up on the roof of the house.the roof is metal.....can't talk any where,but i hear a lot of dx on ssb.....thinking about the siro 4 element beam on the flat...

i was looking and for what i would pay for the y quad i could just add $60 to it and get the 4 element.......lol

Thanks,well what about just going with the Maco Comet,or would the vertical gp be better than the vertacal side of the Comet?I know i have talked dx like crazy with a gp at 18' off the ground.Then again other times could'nt make a contact.I guess thats when i should of had the flat side huh!

I want to shoot dx..36' is as far as i can get it in the air.Would a good gp or a beam on the flat side or horizontally mounted be better?H ave hills on each side and the only opening i have is towards the east;;;;i know i want be able to talk local because all my buddies live to far a way for...

i agree on the i-max bender.i went through the swr problem when the rainy season set in around september.they went up out of sight.when i took the antenna down spider's or something had made a nest in the drain hole and the thing was full of water.it would have took till spring for the water to...
