Comm Spec was the only good source for years, however for this application... tney're not the right choice. eBay has the correct part that is programmable by the radio's front panel controls.Comm-Spec is about the only ones who makes them. You can buy them from direct or from HRO for about $40.00. These aren't plug in modular boards for specific radios. These are a wired in internal type. I had one like the one pictured below in a RCI 2950 and it worked well. That's the SS-64 for encoding only. They do sell some that do both encode/decode.

Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned |
