Thanks in advance.
Comet SBB-5, which is a decent basic antenna and also this Comet CA-2x4SR, which is a really nice broadbanded antenna.
Comet CA-2x4SR antenna with the SO-239 mount and will agree it works quite well. I have had it for over 10 years and it has never failed me yet. I really like the fact it is quite broad banded. It easily works the provincial Emergency Measures Organisation's SAR repeaters with their 143/149 MHz split.
Hey what kind of SO239 mount do you have? I'm looking for a roof mount type.
Diamond® Antenna ~ K400C Trunk/Hatchback Mount on the rear door of my Ford Escape. I also use the K400-3/8 on the rear door for an HF antenna with a 3/8-24 stud mount.
I use something like this one: Diamond® Antenna ~ C101 Cable Assembly, although the one I use has different coax.
