New Blackcat amps

Was wondering if anybody has seen one or tried one. I see they are at H&Y the 500 has 4 Mosfets and they claim you can drive it wit a 100 watt radio or a great match up for the RFX-75 Has cooling fan Hi Med Low auto SSB and power switch and pre-amp. 45amp draw seems like a lot for mosfets. Wonder who is makeing them Build quality etc.

Damm good question. Midnight special has a line of mosfet amps with lower prices than their transistor amps, Look at the rateings on this one.

That's odd how the 300 model is rated at 15 amps draw........ and yet they claim 350 watts PEP. With that peak wattage number the draw should be around 30 amps. If it is AB then 109 bucks is a great price.

Yes a great price if it were in stock! I am wondering about the input allowing an RFX 75 on the BC-500 model. Sounds to good to be true for a 225.00 amp. I could run it with the Omegaforce S45-HP or the RCI 2950-dx and not have to worry about setting the out-put of the radio. Just hit thre switch. And class AB... H&Y is just like Coppers, they never have anything you want in stock. I don't know why they don't have a real time website.. It would save a heck of a lot of frustration!!!
