Yup; that is a ridiculous price for that radio.
No doubt about it.

I know that you are pretty much an AMer. But if you were a SSBer; then with a simple mod to the AGC/receive these radios are outstanding there. One of faves; if not my all-time fave.

estate sales...theres a sale by me the other day and a friend got a bunch of stuff...hf radios in the box for 250 and mbls for 125...and antennas cheap also...has ts450 and icom 725 and a buch of vhf uhf radios.

They sniped me on a couple of NOS Uniden Grant XLs and they should be up for auction this year. Buy for $145 and sell for $400.
