Unknown Hinson is the man!! And Early Cuyler is just an evil squid but funny.

If you start watching that crazy stuff you’ll be hooked. Then you’ll be wanting a truck-boat-truck and trying to jimmy-jack some speakers from the local church to go in it.

I wanted to get a schematic so I could see if it had keying circuits and how the drive input would need to be adjusted. Sent him some emails and he acted like I don't need to tell you anything. I pushed a little more and he said this is not for CB's. If this guy was in my hood i would kick his butt.

I wouldn't buy any of the so-called pallet amps on Ebay. Notice you have to supply the LDMOS chip yourself as well as anything else to make it work as an amp. This guy and another in Greece make dubious quality stuff from amps to RF combiners. Do they work? Yes......and no. Sometimes they are unstable and you are on your own to cure the issue and hopefully the LDMOS chip does not self destruct before you find out the problem.

He is in Israel so an RPG may be available on his end without much hunting.I have seen some of the amps built with that stuff & they Kick Ass.Not sure if he was the seller but same stuff?

A friend of mine has one of these and a handful of blown transistors. The project was a little over his head and the guy selling them does not support the product after the sale.

I know people that have built amps around the blf188xr using the datasheet for the device and a copper clad circuit board. If you need a premade board you shouldn't be attempting this anyway.

Just look at the nasty solder joints on the circut boards.

I am a Class C Instructor for Weapon Specification 6536 and have been involved in electronics since1968. I can handle building my own, but sometimes it's nice to take a short cut with some premade parts. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Oh oh, somebody got into the feeling bottle tonight.

Again, death to me, haha.
