1. Click on a name.
2. Click "Start a Conversation".

Works on my phone & works on the computer.

You don't need to do anything waiting for a response...you'll a red notice on the page when there is one. Click on it.

If that doesn't work, there's a section of the forum far more fitting than this thread.

It's located here: https://www.worldwidedx.com/forums/forum-help-info.136/
Lol, gotta really wonder about some of you here..... Appreciate your effort, but I was told several days ago how to do pm. Quite simple & it worked just fine for me the 1st time I tried it and I have reported that fact here more than once. The only caveat to that is what I have explained clearly & in detail about 2 things. First is that that the 1st time I tried it, there was no, or I saw no name by the person whose post I attempted to PM, which brought me to a different page than the regular pm page. It was similar, but different. On that page, it says "write here" instead of "start conversation". I also saw the person's name, but not in the same way as you are referring to. Just above the post, was a site generated narrative. It said: "so and so" (the post authors name was there, in red I believe) has replied to you (or something close to that). Since the post authors name was not there as it usually is, next to his icon, I thought well, maybe this is what the guy meant who told me how to do a pm, to click on that name in red, which is a live, clickable link. So I tried that as well and it brought me to the same page as when I clicked on the icon, the page where it says: "write here". And there is a field or a box where you can type whay you want to say. So I did so, thinking this is how to send a pm, as I did, after all, follow the direction I was given, to "click on the name". It was, in this case, for some unknown reason, the only "name" present. So then I sent the msg I typed & waited for a response because in the msg I sent, I asked if it was recieved? After awhile I got no response so I used the regular public posting function to ask that same person if he recieved my pm. He STILL did not respond, even tho he was there just a couple min before, telling me how to do it. I thought that was odd. So then I backed up to the next different person and in his case, I saw his name posted there so I clicked on his name and this time was brought to what is the proper pm page where it says "start conversation". I then sent a pm that way & asked if recieved. I'm not positive if that person responded right away or not. Can't remember right now. I don't however, recall any expected response where it said, yes, pm recieved! Regardless, I was sure that I did it the right way and I reported that fact here so anyone reading my asks for assistance would know that I now understood how to do a pm. So not sure why you are, a couple days later (or is it only 1 day?...) telling me how to do a pm? But thanks anyway.

I still wanted to know what that other page ("write here") was for. I have described it and asked several times now, but no response. I made the question clear. I said you wind up there when you click on icon (no, it was not the authors profile page) or click on the name in red (of the poster). It must have some purpose and it allows you to write a msg. To whom?

If I get the chance and still see the red name & the same icon with no name next to it, I'll try to get a screenshot of that and the mysterious page it goes to. Maybe it was just a temp glitch and won't be there any more so it can then be chalked up, by y'all, to me seeing things...

Thanks again for your effort but I figured out pm 1st day.

Why are you creating multiple threads with the same title and using each thread as a response to another one? I deleted the rest as it appeared as random gibberish with no reference.

Never mind. I found the rest of it in another forum. Please do not do that. If you need help then post the question in the Forum Help & info section as a legitimate question and not simply quotes of a conversation in another section altogether.
