My Base Rig

These are photos of my base... a Uniden Washington 40 channel SSB unit, 2 Astatic D-104s and a Radio Shack swr/power meter. It's all hooked up to the homemade dipole antenna mounted on the deck of my house.

I mostly use the black mic with the T-UP9 stand. I'm not sure if it's a "Special" or not
Just curious which plug you used for the D-104. I've seen adapters to make the change. Do you mind sharing what you used, as well as the wiring diagram. Thank's,
David aka Tripple Nickel 555

Hi there! Sorry it took a while to respond but I just noticed this. For the plug I ordered 2 5-pin plugs brand new from a seller (texxcomm) for $7.00 on ebay. I just checked his "store" and he still has them. For the wiring I found & used the 'Astatic Wiring Guide' on cbtricks.com. (http://www.cbtricks.com/mic_manuals/astatic/astatic_wiring_handbook.pdf) No adapters used, wired directly using the 5-pin plug. Hope this helps!
