Can someone please tell me the pin layout for a stock Lafayette mic to be used on a Lafayette SSB-50 mobile radio. It has the "Y" configuration mic plug. TIA... So it will be like top left, top right, center and bottom.

Wiring for a stock mic to a Lafayette SSB-50 cb radio

I got this diagram out of the sams info for the SSB-50. So can some read this diagram and tell me where the following wires go? Red/Black/White/Shield
IF this is right:
Top left and top right are ground.
Center is audio.
Bottom is coming from the RX\TX relay.
Reading your second post I could only guess at which color goes where, other than shield going to either top left or top right. Maybe crack the mic open and ohm out the wires? Unless someone gorilla'd the screws and stripped the heads, of course.
