Hello I have a Sirio 5/8 GPE my swr is kind of high,swr is 2.5 on channel 1 and 4.5 on channel 40

Too short. See if one tube slipped down into another.

Nope. It's too long. SWR is higher on 40 than on 1, which means it needs to be shortened. Probably quite a bit shorter based on the 2.5 & 4.5 SWR figures quoted!

Shorter=higher

I have a Serio 827 5/8 wave i have a great S.W.R. over 80 channels. get 1.1 on channel 40, 1.3 on channel 80 and 1.3 on channel 1. What type coax are you running?

If you can beg borrow or steal (OK, maybe not steal) a NanoVNA you can hook it up to the antenna and find out where the heck it's center frequency is. Should also allow you tune it where you want it. If not, just disregard this as noise.
