Has anyone had any contact with Lou recently?
He has not logged in here for over 4 years, and his Bio on qrz also says last update was in 2022.
I have tried every contact I have and nothing.
His Fax number is now a disconnected cell phone number, has been for awhile.
The last phone number I have just rings forever, no answering machine or nothing.
The two email addresses I have go unanswered and the old one gets bounced back.
The contact us on his website gets no reply.



Anyone?

My last conversation with Lou was in 2020. I've exhausted my contact info for him trying. I pray he is well and not SK, but folks are dropping like flies in these days.

I just noticed on a 2 month old Facebook post, that someone said that he talked to Lou a couple of years ago, and that he was just working at home on his sales. But his eyesight is getting bad so Lou is doing some traveling now.
If true, that would probably make sense why people can't reach him.
 
Looks like Lou addresses the rumors that have been floating around about him on his QRZ page, maybe he just recently updated it? Also, he mentions his phone keeps ringing and he just doesn't have time to answer all of the calls.

That update on QRZ is from Feb 2022
I spoke with him after that, now I can't find a way to contact him.
Hope he's just on vacation as suggested above.....

I'd leave the man alone, he has given more than required, his material is out there, but you might have to hunt for it and (gasp) wait. When I first ordered his big cb book, I had to (gasp) wait over a year for it to get back in print, (spiral bound is great Lou, thx) or pay out the nose on eBay for an older copy. The man can't see well and probably can't hear anything over the phone always ringing. If I were Lou, I would have disconnected long ago, tooling down some highway in a Winnebago until I croak.
