Could not hit the downtown repeater with my Jpole even at 30’ AGL. Had an idea I had to try. Like most of my ideas I went to see if anybody had tried it, and sure enough I found a great article on the subject. Had everything I needed laying around here to test it. And it worked with an acceptable match. Only up in the air at 15 feet at the moment. Held together with zip ties any high wind would probably rip apart.
Plan to put it up higher and maybe guy lines and my TV rotator once I get everything more secure on antenna. Just passing time here.
