I'd like to replace the clarifier on my 2950DX with a 10 turn pot or a push on vernier drive knob. Has anyone done this or can someone provide a source for the part/parts.

well,
the clarifier is a 20K ohm pot and you can get a 10 turn 20K pot at mouser electronics.
but you wont be able to fit the 10 turn pot in the radio, and the vernier knob wont fit on the face, so im not sure how you plan to pull this off.
if there is something im not seeing please inform me.

I have seen where this has been done (on the 2950). I believe that RadioHactive also does this as part of their modding options. I have seen vernier dials that are less than 1" in diameter and have an odometer style readout in the center of the knob, but I have been unable to find a source.
I found this POT. Wonder if it could be made to work/fit?
