12 Tube D & A Phantom 500

Can I substitute 6KM6 or 6JF6 tubes for the 6LQ6 tubes that are used in the Phantoms. I know the amp will produce lower wattage with the 6KM6 or 6JF6 tubes but they are much cheaper. Just want to know if they would work.
