got an old one in my garage(mid 80`s)dosn`t receive anymore

this thing was great in the day,out side is kinda abused,but

for 15or16 years old not to bad,do ya think its worth repairing

or just junk.

I heard the older ones are the ones you wanna hold on to. Depending on whats wrong with it I would say keep it and fix it. If I am not mistaken it has the MB 8719 chip which can be modified for extra channells it ya wanna go that route.

If it is more than a few years old, it has the 8719 chip in it and is definitely worth repairing. Has dual-conversion AM receive that is second to none. There is very few radios out that there that sound better than a properly tuned 148 with a D-104. Have that thing fixed!
