2006 Ford F-150 Install

Great answer thank you. It make sense now why I need to use a bigger wire. This radio has been tuned to do 115w PEP.
I would NOT run those MOSFETs that high; as this would definitely be in the 'snap, crackle, and pop' zone. You might consider and I would strongly suggest that you add a 12v fan to the radios heat sink and don't try to push that radio very hard at all . . .

Now one more question since I am on the same page as you. I can run the 10 gauge wire from the battery to the stock power lead and be alright?
Yeah; just keep it as short as you can and is practical.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
