will i see more power and will i be able to do it with the 22b's power supply? im sure you know as well as i the radio's are the same inside
the ERF2030 was not "brought to market' to provide a substantial power increase over any of its BJT counterparts, only to be available as a replacement whenever the older devices were no longer available. we're still waiting.
unless the oem BJT devices are leaky or defective you're just wasting your time replacing them with mosfets. if you've never performed the procedure before you may very well wind up worse off than you already are.
