2SC2020 vs 2SC1969 - which is better?

Since the availability of 1969 is slim at best; has anybody used the more available 2020's with success?
The prices of these two are about the same; but the 2020's (about $10/ea) can be found rather easily.
Are there any caveats to be concerned with when using the 2020?
Do they need to be biased differently?
What about the claims of a +14db gain over the 1969's +12db gain with comparable electrical specs?
What about the 2SC1307's; any useful info on that one?
Or the 2SC2078?

All/any comments,experiences, and suggestions welcome!

I use either stock 2078's or I have a bucket full of IRF520 kits here. For the price and output performance, use the stock 2078 if you want some added few watts go with the IRF520 upgrade, I got both here if you need one.
