Question for you...where did you get the mic cable that goes from modular to standard mic connector?
I could use that for my Yaesu FT-857 in the mobile.

By the way. I got side tracked. Install looks good. What you got for an antenna?

Pretty slick remote mount. Does it tend to twist?

If you look at the linked install pics you will see how the mount was modified for use. I taped some air tubing to the back of the mount which fits into the recess of the dash area preventing any twisting.

Huslter fold over. I have 10m,20m and 40m Super resonators that I can change between.

Im curious as to why you would use a astatic power mic instead of the stock icom mic?

Just to see how it would do. I have since the pic was made went back to the stock mic.
