80m horz delta mod modeling request

I use a 80m delta horizontal loop. Works great. A guy i talk to has given me some info to change it to a 160-6 instead of a 80-6 loop. Claims it improves range and extends frequency by adding a loop under the existing loop and tying it together. In the same footprint. Same balun. Same choke.

Anyone able to model it and see what it does to it? I’m not sure you could even layer the wire like that in software.?

I have never tied the reflector to a delta but I have built a reflector about 5% longer and placed it 1/10th to 1/20th wavelength away. I guess you could make it the same size and feed each loop with either side of the ladder line. You would have double the wire so it makes sense.

I can’t draw it where it looks right according to his description. But you hang a new triangle and cut the original long side in the middle where you cross them. Basically making a top and bottom sorta. About 5’ apart
