A Stargun Antenna is ok with me!

I bought a used stargun antenna, the so called "snake oil kit" last year and couldn't get it to tune because it was missing parts. Well a few weeks ago I got a used 10k off of a guy and took the parts off of that that I needed and got a 1.1 match with some fine tuning!!!

I did a radio check(barefoot radio) with a buddy 10 miles away with running my fatboy antenna and then the stargun, not telling him what I was doing, but just changing the antenna's. He told me antenna #2(stargun) had more audio like I was running an amplifier compared to antenna #1. The signal stayed the same on both tests.

Now the next move is to try and feed it horizontally to talk flatside!!

Just thought I'd share!

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
